How do I notify school that my child will be absent today?

My child is absent, how do I start an Independent Study?

Please contact your child's guide by email at least 5 days before needing River's Short Term Independent Study Contract and identify the reason for the Independent Study request. Your child's guide will create the contract and work based on the number of days your child will be absent.  Both you and your child will be asked to sign the contract to begin your student's Independent Study.
